Who Is Amy Jackson?
Amy Jackson, a British model and actress, has made a name for herself in the Indian film industry, mostly in Tamil cinema but also in some Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada films. Born in 1992 on the Isle of Man, Amy Jackson started modeling before winning the 2009 Miss Teen World pageant. Upon moving to India, she debuted as an actress in the Tamil film “Madrasapattinam” in 2010. Amy Jackson’s remarkable performance in “Madrasapattinam” earned her the 2011 Best Debut Actress award.
In addition to her work as an actress, Amy Jackson actively supports several humanitarian causes and is a patron of “The Sneha Sargar Orphanage for Girls”. The United Nations International Day of the Girl Child award was given to her in London in 2018. In addition, she has been a distinguished PETA ambassador since 2016 and is a fervent supporter of vegan animal rights. Additionally, she supports The Elephant Family’s efforts to lessen conflict between humans and animals, particularly in Asia. Her commitment to humanitarian work and animal welfare campaigning reflects her desire to improve society.
